They manage to differentiate adult shortcodes pretty well... We run text services where customers can get free stuff (book/audiobook related, such as free chapters etc...), but it's not so free when you're paying up to 25p to send us a message - we foot the bill for the SMS and Wap Push back...
The thing is, if you showed a "normob" a normal shortcode and an adult shortcode, would they know the difference? I doubt it. So would they know that "3xxxx" is included as part of their contract?
It makes me wonder if paying for a dedicated shortcode is the way to go...

Right then, I've called all the major mobile networks...
T-Mobile - 10p o2 - 9p Three - 25p!! Vodafone - comes out of your contract, or 12p Orange - 10p Virgin - no help whatsoever
There HAS to be a better way than using shortcodes, surely...
